I have a hard time believing there's a significant chance of you getting fired for dating a student (assuming they're overage.) Professors bang their students all the time, don't they? Plus is it even a problem if it's not one of your own actual students?
It sounds like you're just making an excuse to hold yourself back.
Considered it, but extremely uneasy about it because I am the very first person on this exchange program (professional reputation), I'm not a direct hire by the school and they provide my housing. It's a huge risk to take when I don't know what the rules are and I'm sure as hell not going to try asking. Use your brain, not your dick. I have heard from a few Japanese people that things are strict in Japan and people have been fired for fucking students. Not at this particular school, though. I even had one crazy bitch I met online threaten to call my school and get me fired for "womanizing."
Career > sticking my dick in everything that moves without regard to consequences. That should be common sense.

There's a saying: When a person really wants something, they find a way to make it happen. If they don't really want something, they make excuses.
And people who are clueless about certain situations see everything as an excuse.

There are no bars or single (non-college-student) women in your area? Again, hard to believe.
Well, throwing out the chances of getting busted by a colleague or sleeping with a student who might be going to my school (see above about CONSEQUENCES), there are very few people here who aren't middle-aged families or grandmas. Even so, my place is not big enough for hosting a ONS (not to mention slightly creepy looking on the exterior) and is a 20 minute taxi ride from the city center where all the bars are.
My logistics are fucked, plain and simple.
Pebble, you and the others are projecting
your ways onto me, disregarding cold facts and answering what you want to answer and failing to realize that life in a different country is, well, different. I'm starting to wonder if any of you even have careers if you're all so nonchalant about fucking students without even bothering to think about potential consequences.

You answered the things you wanted to answer and disregarded he stuff you didn't want to answer (affection, future family?)
I addressed that when I said, "Hopefully next year things will be better, but for the moment I am on an exchange teaching program where I have no say in where I get to live because the housing is provided for per my contract." Did you not read that? I will be finding better employment and moving to a better area when my contract is up next year. If you actually read my post you would see I addressed every question, only to be blasted with "you're just making excuses." Please. Use your fucking brain.
I will quit wasting my time trying to explain a situation that you will never understand and refuse to even try to understand.
