Girls love talking. If you can open her up, she'll just yap yap yap. And that's what I do. I don't mind if when we're together she's yapping about herself... but when we're not and I'm doing my own thing, I get calls and she seems to be so into a convo and I'm mainly listening... giving my 2 cents every now and then... I'll ask questions, etc.... It will get tiring very quick. So after a bit I'm just like "Hey I gotta bounce cuz xyz is here... you wanna text me?" or something, and end it. Usually it's a "Alright bye", click.
I've noticed that if I'm on the phone with her trying to be the nice guy, even though I want out, the bitchiness raises and when she ends the call it's in a bit more attitude way. It's like they can tell you don't wanna be on the phone with her, but the girl will continue talking just to test your strength or something? To see if you will man up and say "Hey I gotta go".
Anyways, this usually happens with the girl I'm with... but sometimes does happen with other females as well. What's the best way to end a phone call without being a dick?
EDIT: Phone should primarily be used to setup the next date correct?

Its awkward with someone you don't know from shit, and forces rapport when you need to be building attraction. I think you have the best strategy already, try to remain calm and mysterious and get her off the phone as soon as you can by feigning being busy. Your goal is to get in front of her in real life
