Full Disclosure: Total AFC here. New to the whole pickup thing.

So, I am studying at uni. Last night I went to one of the uni bars. At first I was just walking around feeling uneasy because I had lost my friends. I get a little bit uneasy when I am alone in a bar.

Anyway, so I decided to get a drink just to pass some time. At the bar while waiting, this HB7 started eyeing me. I obviously took that as an IOI and opened with a "Hey". She said " Hey" back. She asked me if I was a student and I said yes. I asked her the same question. She replied. We both spoke about spoke about what we were studying but the convo quickly reached a pause. I realized that I should switch to something interesting if I want to keep her engaged. I have been reading The Game and I remembered the 5 question wrong routine, which basically goes like u ask her 5 questions in a row and she has to get them all wrong. If she gets them all wrong she wins else she loses. I confidently introduced the game to her and she seemed interested. If she loses she's supposed to buy me a drink. So we played the game and she lost. So I went like "Are you gonna buy me that drink now?". At this point she didn't seem to very enthused so I backed out and said "Just kidding haha" and purchased my own drink. However, for some reason after there was a really awkward pause. She stopped giving me eye contact and said something about her friend. Now we were just standing there side by side at the bar awkwardly without any convo. It got too awkward for me so I just pussied out and left.

Now, I am not trying to overanalyze the situation. But one of the reasons I feel she lost interest is because I am studying abroad and I have an accent. I feel like she was expecting something different when she was eyeing me. Another reason is because I didn't manage to continue the conversagion after playing the game. For some reason I just couldn't think about how to continue the conversation.

Would love to hear your opinions on what happened and what I did wrong.

Doesn't sound like you escalated in the conversation in any way at all. You only talked about school and then played a game. There is nothing attractive about that.

I think you should take advantage of your accent next time. Say something from your hometown and without expecting a reaction, She will ask wtf that means and spark some interest.

Other than this... keep practicing and don't just play games with girls.
Right after you do something like: "Are you buying me a drink?" and back off just because she doesn't like it... I think she lost interest right at that moment. Stick to your guns like someone above said.

Work on your frame and keep up the good work.
