First post, trying to figure out the situation. Recently back in the game and a bit rusty.

Tinder girl, met for drinks and had a good time, date goes well, she texts right after and said she had fun.

We meet a week later on Saturday and go out, end up with a few drinks, lots of discussion, get a few cues. Light makeout session as I walk her to her car.

She texts the next day, said she had a great time, says we should grab lunch. Lunch? Thought it was odd but she had some commitments that week. Lunch was OK, not great but it was grabbed during work hours so I didn't expect much. I dropped her off right in front of work, she gave me a kiss then went inside.

Texts go normally the next few days, I try to schedule fourth date. She is noncommittal, then says she has plans with friends, says we should do something this week.

Since then, texts slowed down. I'm not going to chase the girl, but odd that it cooled off as she initiated the third date.

Any thoughts, worth pursuing? Mistakes made?

At what point did you invite her back to your place or suggest that you do something at hers?

Point taken. Been doing ok on Tinder, but thought through it and been playing "nice guy" too much.

The girls get bored after that many meets without much progress and assume either the guy isn't into her that much or isn't able to engineer a situation where the two of them can be alone at a private location. So the girl ends up saying 'Next'.

If a girl already likes you/thinks you're attractive, there is no need do more than one date.
