I recently tried a new method on tinder just to get the girl to talk: roleplay. It went like this:

Me: "I need to tell you something. You may be choked, but i need to do this. I want a divorce. I'll take the dog and the car"
Her: "Get divorced before we even met each other?!"
Me: "I understand if you're pissed but it's about the trip to antarctica, the one you didn't want to participate in. I need to se penguins!"
Her: "Well I hope, that the dog is going to be a good companion to you"

At that point I've noticed, that he is either not interested or didn't get the roleplay entirely. My questions are: How long do I need to roleplay and how can I get out of it in style and begin a real conversation. She didn't have anything on her tinder profile, which made conversation even harder.

Hey man.
I feel like role playing is much more efficient face to face, using your body language and tone of voice.
if you feel like trying a new thing and see how its going just do it for a while.

If girls dont understand you, just get back to regular conversation using "lol...just kidding...so...blah blah?"
I feel that role playing can actually be a cool change for some girls on tinder and some would just ignore it or be confused.
It may also be a good thing in the way that they have the urge to responde to you because they dont understand what you just wrote.

I normally do not like routines, but for some reason I sort of like this. Unfortunately, you have a short window in this and a response should be where you wrap up the joke and start talking to her normally.

Keep tweaking this, I'd like to know how it works for you.

Thanks for your responses! I definitely need to tweak my approach a little. However I've noticed that this kind of "strange" or "unusual" opener doesn't really work with boring girls which is a good thing, for me at least

yeah it might be good for an opener, not something i would use but dont drag the joke on like that and the girl wont drag it along like that either - make sense ?
