| I met this girl at an event I attended with a friend, we spoke, flirted, connected and I took her number. A few days later I called and we spoke for a while before setting up a date. Date night came and what I thought would be a quick coffee date turned into 4 hours of drinking and eating ending with a short kiss at the train station. Half way through the date she was already planning date #2, suggesting we see a film. I was having fun, connecting with the girl and agreed! A few days later we met up for dinner and then saw the film before ending the night with a drink, plenty of kissing and a train journey back home. On the train home I suggested that she came to mine for dinner on date # 3. Again she seemed genuinely thrilled when I asked her and set a time and date then and there. A few days later and after picking her up from the tube station we were sharing food and drink and again connecting in a way I had not experienced with a girl in a long time. That night she cancelled a taxi she had pre booked and ended up staying the night (no sex, just lots of kissing and so on). The next morning as she had work we got up early and I dropped her off at her place. That day I was heading back to my parents for Christmas, so I would be out of London for 8 or 9 days, but we agreed to meet up in the New Year.
From there, everything seemed on track, she sent me a message thanking me for the night before and over Christmas we preceded to email each other every couple of days, flirting and teasing each other. I was obviously naturally delighted when one email she sent was an invitation to dinner at hers in the New Year. Giving it a day or two, I replied saying yes.
I write this story now some 6 days after saying Yes (I also sent a brief text on New Year’s Eve wishing her a Happy New Year) and I have heard nothing back. This therefore concludes me to think she has flaked!
But why?
Everything was going great! She seemed really into me, initiating most of our email exchanges. She even set up a date for me to come to hers and have dinner which now just happens to be in 2 days!
Please pass on some advice, What should I do?
