I'm asking this... cause I used to think Gambler was an idiot. Thought he was pretty much clueless, until I randomly bought his book, and it's great.

I also noticed that 50% of people seem to hate Mystery, and the other 50% think he's God. I think he's a prat, but he DOES make some really good points. I just don't want to get into his stuff too much because of how weird it makes me feel. Same kind of thing with Julien, though I can see how good he is.

I can't tell if those are the crappy PUA's, or if it's just different strokes... for example I think Adam Lyons is the shit... maybe others hate him? (I do see people accusing him of having no game, cause he got cheated on... lol)

Most of them offer shitty advice.

My blacklist is probably about %90 of the "gurus".

If they suck with women, they should not be listened to(Carlos Xuma, Mehow, Dr Paul, Rion Williams, David Deangelo, RSDTyler, etc).
If they are personally good with women, but offer shitty advice, they should also be ignored(Brad P, Mystery, Zan).

It's actually pretty striking just how few "gurus" are both good with women, AND offer good advice. My list is almost razor thin. Gambler is on it. So is Sinn, GLL, 60YOC, RSDJulien, Captain Jack, Cory Skyy, Yad.

There are a few like Swingcat, Vin DiCarlo and Mark Manson, who I have mixed feeling about. Some good advice, not much bad advice, but a good bit of useless mental masturbation.

I'm not going to fully disagree with you... because I'm glad that you recognise how much of a fucking idiot Mehow is. But I'm shocked to see Tyler on the bad advice list... yet Gambler on the good list when he doesn't actually have any videos to prove his success? Again, not to disagree - I also rate Gambler higher than Tyler. I'm just curious as to why, when his videos show a lot of success (for instance his "you 2 kiss eachother" thing). Also thought I'd have seen Corey Wayne on the good list - I respect his advice, because it's not pathetic "Yea so I was DHV'ing the HB9 target, when this AMOG came along..." nerd slang pickup bullshit. He focuses more on relationships, rather than sounding like a virgin talking about targets, HB's and kino.

Again though, that's just me. I think it's generally what style suits the individual. Who knows, there might be a person out there who gets amazing results by focusing on nothing other than "Text your ex back" and Kezia Noble, lol.

Some of the best stuff I learned were from Zan Perrion's teachings. He may not offer much in the ways of intensive instructional training, and he's not a media and advertising whore like the rest of us, but his material is solid gold. Way more awesome than most PUAs' material.

It was Zan's stuff that taught me that constantly expressing curiosity to women will get you far. It's gotten me far.

It was Zan's stuff that taught me that pickup/seduction should be about being on the same team with women instead of trying to "break into their castle," as he put it (or something like that). That, too, has gotten me far.

I also remember in an interview, he was asked how he gets "in state" to sarge. He went on to explain that WOMEN get him "in state." Rather than trying to get in state to meet women like everyone else seems to be doing, he relies on his own good feelings that he gets from interacting with women to put himself in this "state" thing. That shit blew my mind. That perspective shift led me to appreciate and enjoy the feminine energy a hell of a lot more, and to look at interactions with women in a totally different way.

A perspective shift like that helps you realize that you should see interactions with women as a fun and enjoying experience rather than anything to be anxious about. It really helped me out back in the day.

I'd slot Kezia along with Vin and Mark. I agree with most of the stuff she says... but she offers slews of advice that barely matters. I think it peaked for me, when she said something about offering a girl pepper for her salad on a first date and how she'll appreciate the effort, and I'm just like... "wtf is this shit?"

Man, before I learned the pepper technique, I wasn't getting laid, but then I'm like "Pepper for your salad?" and BAM! Unstoppable sex god.

Zan is basically a motivational speaker. He just gives pep talks. I feel like I'm watching Joel Osteen. You're special! You're amazing! Everyone loves you! Great. Now, how exactly is that going to help me with women again, Zan?

Maybe Zan can be useful for deprogramming bad things the community teaches you(See Cocky Funny, Mystery Method, RSD, Love Systems). But I don't see anything practical. Zan insists that this mindset is all you need - I sharply disagree.

I think Sinn described Cocky Funny best I'm naturally inclined towards cocky funny type humor. But I actually tone it down from what I want to do instinctively, because having girls in stitches is not actually a good way to get laid. And I can get away with it more than someone for who it is not natural.

Where did you get these numbers? Personally I don't think ones lay count matters at all, because some people (like me) are not into that (sleeping with as many as possible). I prefer quality myself and probably have a much higher could-have-been-a-lay-count from all unattractive girls I have rejected. On the other hand, the number of approaches you claim Tyler has made surprises me. That is really terrible!

It's a pretty well known number. The source is multiple RSD interns and even other instructors.

I believe in quality over quantity too. But I don't see a lot of evidence that Tyler is screening for quality in either looks or personality. Have you seen the pictures of these girls? They aren't very attractive, a lot of them look trashy and I doubt are very smart.

RSD pulls a lot of stuff I don't approve of. Julien has some good advice, but because he's so associated with RSD, I never even suggest someone look into him, because with Julien, comes Tyler, Papa, Jeffy, Ozzy, etc.

Example of Julien being a pathetic little freak: I can't find the link... but there's a video of him constantly insulting this "fat" (thinner than him) girl, bringing her to tears... just to attract other girls. It's supposed to be about bringing people up, challenging women up to your level... not putting them down to compensate for being at such a low level yourself.

Again, though... he does generally give amazing advice, and have success.

It can actually be useful. In very small doses. The problem is when that's most of what you're doing. If it's %10 of what you're doing, it's probably fine. But when it's %50+ you've got a problem.
Cocky Funny as your main tool, misses the truth of seduction.
How to fix it? Stop trying to win women over and go for girls who like you, right from the start.
