I found an elementary school classmate on Facebook that I liked but never went after. We sat next to each other in grade 8 and we always teased each other, which I only realize now that it was a good thing. Haven't had any contact with her for more than a decade and I haven't messaged her yet.

This is kind of a new situation for me because I have never done any online gaming before. Any advice or ideas will be helpful.

honestly i would just message her in a friendly way, say something along the lines of "heY! how have you been," the ask her about what she's doing in life and then ask can yall meet and catch up somewhere such as a cafe or somewhere calming but public....then treat it like a date or atleast treat it in a way where yall can become friends

Seems a little too simple. What would be the hook to meet-up when most of the catching up can be done on Facebook?

I'm more worried about building enough attraction for escalating as I've never done any online game before. Should I use my elementary stories when messaging her or save them for in-person?

just come up with an excuse. I've done this before and my excuse was that "i don't be on Facebook that often" You could be straight up and tell her how you feel but im not that bold to do that

i wold rather tell the stories in person, in person is ALWAYS better than over the phone/text/internet

I agree, after reintroductions etc. just tell her you don't spend time chatting online and you'd like to catch up with her in person.
