I'm a student journalist writing an article about pick-up artists. I was wondering if you guys could give me some response to comments I've already received from people saying it is unethical to use tricks to pick-up women.

Pick up artists are not all Julien Blanc. You don't need to be here.

PUA used to be about routines and 'tricks' but not so much anymore. It's more self help and becoming an overall attractive person that naturally will attract the ladies.

The term "tricks" is biased and a loaded term, right out the gate.

Applying PUA theory towards attracting women is no different than any other scenario where you think about and intelligently (not dishonestly) go about getting what you want.

Calling PUA a trick is like saying that putting on cologne is a way of "tricking" women because you are trying to attract them. No, you are simply presenting yourself as someone that will be attractive to women.

Well it really depends on how you define tricks. For me, routines and "openers" are not my cup of tea. I think they're good for the beginners to set them off when they have really no clue about what to say, but once you start having conversations with women and really start connecting with them, they become completely unnecessary, even counterproductive. So I leave the "tricks".

Or if we considered strong eye-contact to build up sexual tension and open body-language, assertive voice tonality to convey confidence etc. as "tricks" then yes I use them. But I don't really think these are tricks, rather it's just knowing how non-verbal and metacommunication works, besides, these things really become second nature once you get used to it.

In this video Nas gets crucified for being better than those around him. Success creates jealousy. Which ever consistent techniques the PUA chooses to employ he will be better than most of the people that are around him. Certain perspective in the community are very fucked up. Like looking at women as a bunch of wet holes to be plowed, but mainly the stuff is about becoming the best man a man can be. Anyway, the genie is out of the bottle this information is NOT going anywhere. You can get with it or step the fuck aside while one of us takes your girl.
