I used this opener with a lady at work and it worked out great! It got her yapping and I couldn't find a way to pusht he mute button.

(DRAGON OPENER)
"Hey-lemme ask you something? Back in the medival times-do you think that Dragons really existed?"

(WIZARD OPENER)

"Do you believe that Wizards like Merlin were real back then?"

Well... they're kind of obvious. They'll give you a one-word answer (most likely a resounding NO) and will potentially think you're silly. I can't possibly see that working on a 10, who's already heard more interesting things from AFC.

But I must say, I'd be happy to be proven wrong. Try them and report back!

Looks like your on the right track, but your openers need to be more open ended. Like ace was saying, they could be easy to say yes or no to. With open ended questions it makes the other person have to say more than yes or no.

I aply this when im working the sales floor. The main opener i work is, "You look like a woman on a mission, what can I help you hunt down today?" It sounds better than "You look like a woman on a mission, is there anything I can help you find?" The first one works like a charm and gets people gabbing. The second one gives them a chance to say no.


Also, I would avoid anything that has to deal with wizards, dragons etc etc... because you could be related to Larper or DD nerd. Nothing wrong with that stuff, unless you want to get laid.
