Yeah I know what you mean. You're saying painting over the cracks is not going to solve the deep problem..

It's like girls with makeup, they are hiding their flaws and a lot of people do it to some degree.. I will admit, I have concealer for when I get a massive zit appear on the end of my nose, but its not like my ego crumbles when people find out that I am balding and have acne issues.

The other day, a girl took my hat off my head and asked "whats the with the hat?" , I said "I'm balding" and she was like "oh, fair enough then lol".

Best thing to do with your hair is to go to a proper stylist, see what they think will work well on you and your hairline and then - and this is the most important bit - rock it.

I've got a receding hairline (the "V" shape coming out quite a bit now) and it's getting thinner on top. Thankfully not too bad at the moment. My brother has the same hair and has shaved it, it looks bad on him. I spoke to my hairdresser and he said we'd go short back and sides, "choppy" and messy on top, leaving it a little bit longer to reduce the receding V look. You can still see it's receding a bit, and if you look at it directly from above (thankfully at 6'2 that doesn't happen very often) you can still see it's thinning. BUT I have never let it worry me and it doesn't affect my results.

I once had a girl say "you're losing your hair!" when she saw me from above, still pulled her later. Hair can change how you look quite drastically, but you have to work with what you've got. Embrace it, try and make it as good as you can for your face type/head shape etc. and then forget about it. It won't be your receding hair that ruins your chances with girls, it will be the constant worrying about what it looks like which does.

Being bald shows you are not in control dlv(in pua terms) so here are some things you can do:

1.- Shave everything like "style" from the game

If you have little to no hair you can get scalp micropigmentation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moqADiRr_d8

you can also use black ice, or bigen( i use this in my beard to make my beard look fuller, and hide bit of the gray hair and a few patches, but any die would do like "just for men") http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnSWo3EM-t8

and:

If you are losing patches of hair nw2 or less, not that bad you can use minoxidil + nizoral shampoo.

If you are nw3 hair transplants, they take hair from the back of your hair and put on top.

Keep in mind that if you go the transplant route, shaving will never be an option, as they hack off chunks of your scalp and sow them back on, leaving some massive scarring all over your head.

If you are looking good as bald then just shave your head, you can also do tattoo on it. If you are not look good in it then choose a good hair doctor for your hair transplant SPAM.

If you are bald and you hiding your baldness then SMP is really good for you. SMP stands for Scalp Micro Pigmentation. In healty individuals, i believe the chances for SMP face are minimal. Any pigment applied to the dermal layer of the skin will eventually fade, but we expect SMP last several years or more.Fading is much more prevalent in situations where regular tattoo inks are used to try and replicate SMP. Fading is always when we use regular tattoo inks are to replicate SMP. Sun ultraviolet rays breaks aparts some tattoo inks for easier absorption by the body resulting in increased fade ratio on head scalp. But when we use SMP pigments, it last longer because it deposit in the upper layer.

However SMP is not a permanent solution.SMP lasts 10 years and more but not forever. SMP only show roots on the head not long hairs. If you want long and permanent hairs on scalp then Hair Transplant is the best option for you.

Fight the baldness if you don't like going bald. Try minoxidil, SPAM shampoo and yes, finasteride (propecia). I am 28 and my hair started thinning last year and I started using minoxidil and Lipogaine 3 shampoo that contains SPAM and so far it stopped further thinning. I am going to try propecia and if I get the side effects I will stop. You can also get a hair transplant, just make sure you find the right surgeon. I heard laser combs are ok but DO NOT try other stuff because it will cost you a lot of money and time and no results.

I've read ton of horror stories on the web about propecia sides that make you sh*t your pants but the thing is you can't trust every comment you see on the net. I am not saying they are all making this up and lying but there has to be some credible evidence in these comments before you can take them seriously.

The most valid informations in the sea of scam industry can be found on bald truth, google it.

Some natural supplements and remedies that are said can help but I wouldn't expect any miracles from this.

1. Saw Palmetto is an herb that's been shown to block DHT. Supplement with 1500mg per day

2. Adaptogenic Herbs help your body adapt and deal with stress, balance hormones and reduce cortisol levels (also known as the aging hormone). Ashwaganda and Rhodiola are two of the adaptogenic herbs that help stop and reverse hair loss. Take 500mg of each per day.

3. Pumpkin Seed Oil is packed with zinc which has been shown to stop hair loss. Supplement with 1 Tbsp per day.

4. B-Complex vitamins - Biotin helps thicken your hair naturally and Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) supports your adrenal glands

5. Zinc boosts your immune system and repair your gut

6. Omega-3 fatty acids (fish oil) reduce inflammation and balance hormones, Look for a high quality fish oil like Axe Naturals, Garden of Life or Nordic Naturals.

Bonus Tip: Grains and sugars feed bad bacteria, cause estrogen to increase, and cause DHT to increase which promotes hair loss.

Just get a number one all over, your confidence is more important than what you look like.
Also with less attention to pay on the hair you can now put even more attention into your clothes.
