The problem here is this: I've been working on my game now for quite a while now the past couple of years on and off. I just recently moved to a college town for work, and I would like to step up my game to the next level. When I go out on the weekends, the spots are basically clubs with a huge dance floor packed with people. Its loud, and everyone is dancing. My sticking point is the pick up of these girls that are dancing like sluts with their groups of friends and everyone else. I am one of the tallest, most attractive, and confident guys in there on any given night, but I cant pull them on the dance floor. I dance like a maniac, and give off LOTS of positive energy, get plenty of looks, but when I approach they usually dance away or play hard to get. Tons of bitch shields being thrown all over the place at these places I go to, yet the AFC's have no problem getting theirs. I don't know if I need a new routine, or better way to open, or what. Thanks ahead of time guys.

If everything you say is true and you are being honest with yourself in your self description to us, the problem is definitely your approach. Since you are kind of vague in how you approach women, it's hard to figure out what you are doing wrong. What are the AFC's doing that make them successful in getting the types of girls you want to dance with them?

Then stop dancing like maniac = better results. Have you ever tried to escalate on a girl with super high energy? it's difficult and it works both ways. Match her energy and then slow shit down like you're dancing under water.

If you get attention, then all you need is to extend your hand to dance, spin them around and escalate.

Be smooth it, don't make it look you're hunting on the dance floor. Easy peasy.

That's the problem, I'm not sure how they are doing it. I'm almost positive it has to be something with my approach. Right now I am just basically standing there with my drink, beating up the beat to the song that is on, and standing as close as I can to the girls in front of me. When I do approach, I usually put my hand on their shoulder or waist, and either ask them to dance or just pull them in to me. Its about a 1/3 odds of success at this point, which is not what I'm looking for.

Pebble: I am very good at adjusting my dancing to moods. When I say maniac, I mean just really getting into a song, as I know most songs and beats that play. You're right though, I may seem to come off as though I am hunting. I never really thought of it this way. I guess I assumed it was an alpha trait to appear like that?

It's probably the fact that you are touching them too early, especially since you are approaching them from the front.
