Women (and people in general) are addicted to good emotions. When women walk into a club, what do they do? They go to the dancefloor, or scream really loud and rush to their friends, or go to the bar. Stimulus -> response. Men walk in and look for the women. Stimulus -> response. You are left with the choice; either be the stimulus or the response.
In more traditional terms, Casanova says it best: "Be the flame, not the moth".
Look, drop the game, the pick up stuff, and stop reading things here. No tactic will make you a more interesting person. Go out, have a life. Turn off the TV, discover your passions, learn to cook, learn to dance, learn an instrument and then invite her to part-take in your life.
An interesting thing you can try out is to give your number instead of taking one. Let her discover you and want to chase you.
