I dont have a high tolerance for alcohol. If I drink a little, I will feel different very quickly.
few weeks ago, someone told me to drink alcohol and it makes approaching much easier. so tonight i was at a social "single and ready to mingle" event and I had some wine. It made me feel less anxious and I found approaching easier.
I started talking to this girl and in the middle of the conversation, she says "have you been drinking?" or something like that, I don't remember the exact question.
1) was I acting so drunk that people could detect I was drinking? I mean I wasn't being inappropriate or slurring. I was just being normal, just a little more care-free than the normal me (i cant be sure of this because logically speaking, it is possible that I was so drunk, I couldn't tell I was drunk. get it?) but right now I just got back and I am writing this post in a coherent manner, so I guess I am not that drunk?
2) how do you guys drink and make it undetectable? I was embarrassed when she detected I was drinking.
3) is "have you been drinking?" a shit test? if yes, I failed miserably because I tried to deny it. in the future, should I be proud and exaggerate?
just fyi, I was nice to meet you'ed soon after that.
1. If someone asked you if you were drinking, then yeah - it was likely detectable. Maybe they could smell it or maybe you had the wandering drunk guy eyes
2. Up your tolerance level. Drink vodka instead of beer (harder to smell)
3. The answer to have you been drinking is always "Why? Are you buying?"
