So I met this girl at a party, got her number sent her a lame opening text.
I need to pick it up and don't know how.

In essence, the 2 line conversation went something like this:

Me:Hey just checking in, it's ___, How's it going
Her: Heyy, I'm good, how are you ?

To which I haven't replied.

I need a reply which is flirty, playful and shows that I'm not a boring guy, with no personality.

This is the first girl I've texted in a long time and shes pretty cute we have a mutual friend too -who wants to set us up, so....I don't want to flop in this.

What should I reply ? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Make a comment or inside joke about something @ the party the two of you were at. Then find out what her schedule like is this week so you can grab a drink w/ her.

Just be playfull, tell her something crazy. Everything is better than just plain old boring "how are you ?" and "what are you doing?" type of questions.

In your first textual interactions, you want a few of the phone game ingredients together: sparking emotions and making connections. You want her to laugh when she's sees you message, and even better, to feel as if she already has some sort of connection with you.

Inside jokes are the best for this.
Do you remember something about your conversation on that party?
Maybe some inside joke, something you teased her about, funny thing that happened?

Rely on that with a first few messages. Later it will be much easier.

Hey guy's pretty new to all this but had some good response from women just in the short few weeks I have been learning and using this stuff. So I got this girls phone number she wasn't super stoked about giving it to me.

I waited 2 days to text her. then yesterday I text her something kind of clever got a 2 short playfull responses. then nothing.

Text her today at about 7pm this is how it went:

ME:Congratulations! you've won 5 free texts with the hot guy you met last Saturday..... Ask me anything.....Kyle

HER: So your gonna pay my phone bill? (took me a minute to figure this out.....free texts ok got it)

ME: Ummm no.... 4 left might want to make them a bit more worth your while.

HER: Well there not free then.

ME: Reimbursements will come in the form of coffee or sushi......

HER: I like coffee

ME: As do I......I happen to know some nice cozy ones in town. Lets make this java fest happen. Hows your weekend looking.....

Then Nothing. did I go for the date to soon. I guess wondering what your guy's thought are on the convo. Where do I go from here? Thanks for the help.

Some day, whenever, tomorrow, whenever: "I'll be @ X Coffee Shop around 2. Pop by." See if she replies.

You need to know how to reply to " how are you"

Excuse me if I'm coming off like a dick, but if you're not sure how to reply to how are you I'm not sure you'll know what to do when you're actually on a first date. We won't be around telling you how to respond to every thing she says on the date that is a lot more advanced than " how are you ".

Man.. When this said " General Questions" I had no idea lol
