So i was out on my lunch from work getting some last minute halloween items when i see this proper nice 9/10 who looks just as bewildered as i am ! So i open with 'Excuse me you look as confused and bewildered as me ! ill make you a deal ill help you find what your looking for and then you help me?' ' She quickly agree's much to my pleasure...So shes lifting out costumes and asking my approval little to my knowledge did i realise her boyfriend is standing right beside us (he didnt say a word.)

So i shoot down all her costumes and tell her to go as a cactus as a joke ! she says i would be a very sexy cactus and then her boyfriend jumps in 'of course you woudl gorgeous' I should her down again and say yeah you look the thorney type. She bursts out laughing and the boyfriend looks at me as if hes going to end my life but i just tell him to lighten up. She picks a costume and then helps me find the facepaint and sponges.

I ask them both where they are going tomorrow night. They say different places, im look boom well im going here might bump into you and if you have any hot friends you can introduce me, she says she has a really hot friend who she'd like to introduce me to so i whip out my phone and say here's my number pass it onto her. She happily accepts and texts me with her name. I say my goodbyes and walk outside the shop.

I'm standing outside the shop on the phone when she comes storming out the shop having a domestic saying how she was only being friendly and likes to meet new people etc and hes a dick for not letting her and giving her a hard time.

So im standing there finish my phone call look at them both and burst out laughing and walk away. The guy then yells after me saying 'I'm a dick' so i turn back around walk towards him (i'm wearing a suit etc so i dnt look the confrontational type) put my hand out to shake his he declines and i reply with - 'Good game mate' look at her and say 'You've definitely got a keeper in this one' Walk away from them both still arguing.

Shes now texting me saying shes sorry for him being an asshole.

I find it amusing how jst being friendly and making a girl laugh can cause such an upset to a guy.
Any good ideas what to reply im still in a happy funny mood so i dont want to look like a bellend lol

Just stay neutral bro. It isn't until we react and ride the HIGH that we eventually get met with the low. Take it as "everyday shit" its a cool experience and all but you can make it happen at anytime you like.

Great story though, and inspiring.

I normally dont really put myself into those situations i have a think about girls being unloyal etc but it opened my eyes up to peoples relationships might seem fine on the outside but by the sounds of it he was a controlling dick ! I bumped into her on saturday night ! lol kissed her since shes now on a break ! lol
