Hi there. We know each other for a looooong time (6-7 years or so)

So we were friends (and still are). But it happened so that we kissed last night.
Actually I wanted it, she wanted it too.

One part of me wants to remain friends with her, and yet another wants to have sex with her (just natural instinct).

Ideally we should remain friends and get sexual too...

So what is the best way to escalate in that case?

Has anyone had been in this situation and still had positive outcome.

Don't over complicate things. If she comes over for a movie, flirt and tease, escalate etc.

What you shouldn't do, under any circumstances, is tell her "I like you" or "I was thinking maybe we could be friends with benefits" or any of that shit. If you go in to kiss her and make out and touch her, she'll know what you want.

She hinted to go cooking Italian/Indian food at her place sometime in the weekend, and tomorrow we have a yoga class together.

Stop over thinking it and go with the flow. She's invited you to hers for a nice meal over the weekend. She's into you all you have to do is smile, not be a weirdo and don't be overly into her(Don't be needy, don't be weak and don't get really drunk). Escalate.
