I am nowhere near a master of the game, but I know how steep the learning curve was at the start. So here are some videos and links to help you get started.

First of all. It's not good enough to learn routines, openers and DHVs (Demonstrations of Higher Value). Of course you need to learn them, but you also need to see them performed infield by experts in order to witness the body language, tone of voice and other subtleties that you can't get from reading about them, right?

So my first suggestion is to watch this all the way through. It also acts as a confidence boost- When you finally see the game work with your own eyes, you'll have more belief that you can do it as well... and make no mistake, you CAN do it!

Don't worry about taking notes on it yet, just watch it and see a master at work.

Now it's time to learn how to fill the air with vibrant conversation and convey your value.

One of the best DHVs I've come across is the Cube:

I usually perform this after I've solidly grounded myself in the set. I mainly use it on the target but I've also used it to disarm obstacles whilst conveying my value to the girl. That routine combined with a few DHV stories should be enough for you to start with.

With DHV stories, there are certain things you need to convey:

I am a leader of men - She needs to know that if she chooses you, she will be provided for. Showing that you are, at the primal level, a leader is the best way to do this. Examples: Times when you

Pre-selection - The quickest way to let a girl know that she should be attracted to you is to show her that other attractive girls are also attracted to you. Social proof is one of, if not, THE most powerful tool at your disposal.

(Note: It is far more powerful to actually bring a HB with you into the set, this way you don't have to tell her that you've been pre-selected, you can show her without any effort (and thereby without any lowering of your value) that attractive girls flock to you. I usually send the girl I was originally with to do something for me, e.g. finding a pen, getting a cigarette, buying drinks etc. Then upon her return, she sees you with other attractive girls, i.e. her competition, and the new set you've just opened have witnessed a HB approach you. Your value has now increased tenfold!)
