Just wondering if anyone has tried speed dating before and if anyone knows if there is any talent at it, or is it mainly a waste of time? Never tried it before but was tempted to try it out....

I have tried it. It was actually more fun than it was productive...

If you can find a deal online or something and go with a few friends, it's worth it - make a night of it.

You've only got like 2 mins with each girl, so go in smiling and ask some weird fucking questions... Remember that every guy there is going to ask what they do for a living, what they took in school, where they grew up, etc...

As for numbers. You'll only get informed if you 'match' with someone (at least at the one I did) - meaning you picked her AND she picked you... I think I had 3 matches (it was a couple yrs ago), and I had picked 5 girls...

Ended up going on 1 date. K-closed... Never called her again.
