Just wandering who are the best guys out there to be learning from?

I understand Neil Strauss was brilliant but it seems he wants to have a child and settle down from what I have heard. So I am wandering with what's relevant today who are the best?

What courses, ebooks, DVDs, training etc? Which ones are the best and who are the top guys out there to learn from?

Also pick a guru that matches your personality.

There are many great pua and some great advanced ones also. But start where you are, pick one and then get in the field with the information and techniques.

Strauss is not a pickup guru. He is a sensationalist rock writer who dabbled with pickup and made a nice living out of it. He popularised the idea of pickup and paved the way for others to write far more compelling material.

My personal favourite is RSD Julien. He is no bullshit, straight to the point, no routines, no scripts, just gets straight to the point. But it really depends where youre at mentally. If you cant even hold an ordinary "non sexual" conversation with a stranger, you need to fix that first before you start doing pickup.

The ideal age to start studying pickup is 25 and older. The problem with guys who are fresh out of school doing pickup is they have no reference experiences and no life history. Pickup becomes their only hobby, which is unhealthy. The most attractive guys are the ones with depth and depth only comes with years of life experience outside of pickup.

Contrary to what the poster above me says I believe that beginning pick up at and early age is a great way to develop the life expirience that will push you later on in life. I understand his basis, but I also believe that you pick up should be something you dabble in amongst getting other life experiences. Honesty.. what are you losing by starting at an age under 25? Now what are you gaining? I think that speaks for itself. Start early.. Start at 13 years old if you're 13; just don't let it be the only thing you're doing with your time. While your friends are home playing video games, you can be out developing social intelligence. It'll pay off when you're 25 and older, but the perfect time to begin is always now.

Most importantly after learning from these people you should ultimately make game your own style.

What happens is noobs become complete clones of whatever guru they choose but hopefully they eventually incorporate their own style and own it. Thats what a true PUA is in my opinion.

Ultimately anything could work and you shouldnt try to impose your beliefs into others.

Forgive me if i didnt mention you, I probably never heard of ya or forgot. But these are all excellent sources, id recommend the newer ones as they seem more up to date with modern dating. But most of these guys are active now adays.
