This is the situation: this girl I know had a relationship for some 3 or 4 months. During that period they broke up and got back together a few days later. About a month ago she acused him of having another girl and they broke up again. The thing is, she is still hung up on him, constantly posting stuff like "I feel incomplete", "Miss you", "Everyone deserves a second chance".

How do I make her forget about the other dude? And based on your experience, what is the chance he takes her back? She's about a 7 and the guy is very alpha, btw.

Breaking up - particularly for younger people - is like knocking a soda pop machine over. You have to take a few stabs at it and rock it a few times (I didn't make that up... saw it on a TV show).

If she's still posting shit like that on Facebook or wherever you're seeing it, you are not gonna get very far with her yet.

So, keep in touch, see how it progresses and escalate any chance I get to see if it sticks.

Btw, me and this girl get along better when she is in a relationship. Whenever she is with someone she is constantly calling me to do stuff and texts just to chat. When she is single, she kinda holds back and pushes me away. Does this make sense at all?

The lost puppy posts stopped, she is not as chatty and seems to be in a better mood. I'd say they got back together.

Why would you wait around for her ? Sadly you have been well and truely friendzoned dude. She texts you and calls you to do things when shes seeing someone else because she knows its safe too do it with you because you have never escalated or gained any attraction. Personally i would abandon ship on her altogether.

Have you ever heard the analogy about spinning plates? I forget exactly how it goes, but basically: If you're spinning 10 plates and you drop 1, you've still got 9 plates left. You've "lost" 10% of what you had. But if you're only spinning 1, focusing all of your energy on this one plate, and you drop it, you've lost everything.

I think you know what I'm trying to say, but I'll explain anyway: The more girls you have, the less an individual one matters. Work on your game, "spin more plates" (get more girls) and stop focusing all of your time and energy on a girl who isn't available. I agree that you've been friendzoned, so just get more girls. Maybe she'll see you in a new light when you've got more - girls like you a lot more when you've got plenty of other options. Don't do it in the hopes of that happening though, do it for yourself.
