I have started approaching girls since last three days. But I still don't know how to talk to a group of girls or what to say. I see only two scenarios

1. 3-4 girls walking with minimal talking between themselves.
2. 3-4 girls walking with heavily invested between themselves and talking with each other.

Everytime I see this, I want to approach but I see many imaginary convo running in my mind and nothing looking like I will reach anywhere. I know I can say hi, how are you thing.. startle them. Have done that many times in the past, sometimes asked a follow up question as well. But nothing sparked interest and I feel that if I am startling them, then I need to bring something big otherwise they will just walk by.

With single girls, I know I can be direct or indirect flirting about us and many girls like that stuff and it works. But with a group, I can't do that which leads me to problems.

I haven't seen many group openers as well. I don't want to target the pretty one as it turns other one off.
Guys, any suggestions?
