Location: Scotland | | I think there must be a huge difference in people who studied music to a high level and people who were naturally talented musicians. My theory is the naturals brains are wired at a young age for reasons unknown to give them the ability to provoke and be sympathetic to peoples emotions, this part of the brain going by the article above,is prob closely tied in with music, so they learn to LISTEN to music in a way that others may not do so well naturally.

Website: http://seductiveintrovert.com | | I know a lot of so-called "musicians" who just aren't emotionally developed like the article states. However, I've noticed that the biggest problems is with singers.
I suppose those who play instruments generally do better for some reason. And it's not just because of the fame and status as skills360 pointed out. It really does have to do with the emotional development you experience when you jam with other people.
You learn how to sync your emotions with your bandmates, which ultimately translates into being a better pickup artist.
