This is regarding the girl from this thread:

Basically, I'm pretty sure she's interested in me, but being new to this, I'm pretty much an AFC and have no idea what to do. Anyway, we've talked a little bit, but I still don't know how to read IOIs so even though I'm pretty sure she's interested, my doubts are holding me back. If any of you could give me some suggestions on what IOIs to look for in a classroom environment, that would help me out a ton.
Anyway, today while waiting for class, we were standing outside and she walked towards me and tried to make eye contact, but I wouldn't look at her. The thing is, I don't have a problem making and maintaining eye contact when the girls aren't the ones initiating it. When I know they're trying to make eye contact, I won't do it for some stupid reason that's unknown to me. Anyway she stands next to me and I think I can tell by her body language that she wants to talk. Instead, I do something else so she can't initiate and then I walk away to talk to other people. After a bit, I turn around and see she's moved closer to me and still standing alone so I move to a different group.
I know this is dumb, but I have this problem where when I think a girl is interested, I'll ignore her. Any suggestions on this? Also, once I finally stop ignoring her, what's a good way to build attraction and comfort in a classroom environment? Is it basically the same as any other environment or do I have to play it differently?
I'm learning slowly not to be an AFC, but it's taking a lot more effort than I thought it would.
