My original thread was entitled "Makeup", so I felt the name-change less shaming to those who answered.

I hear a lot of men say that they like women without makeup. Well, I'm not that dumb, but do you all find understated makeup to be more attractive, or do you like bold looks, like cat eye or lipstick or smokey eye or whatever? Like, what's the most bangable makeup? Which would you hit?

In a caveman sense?

I really don't like makeup or tans, but I prefer bolder colors and effects on a pale skin tone and more subtle on tanned and darker.

Pin-up > oompa loompa.

Also, personally, I'm into weird hair colors.
Blue or purple hair = insta-boner almost every time

People are able to pull off different looks.

IMO, women look good (granted they take care of themselves), so i'm ok with looking at a woman that like to play around with their fashion

I think short hair is cute, i thinks long hair is cute, i think purple hair is cute, it doesn;t really make a difference as long as it is your fit.

If you don't have the right look for short hair, i would recommend you try something else, just play with your avatar a little bit and figure out what you are more comfortable with.

I was thinking of putting on ebony foundation and putting green highlights in my red hair and getting a mohawk and lifting weights. Thanks for the great tips. You really put a lot of effort into going to all that length.

Reading between the lines though, I always thought that men liked makeup. They lie, they lie.

strange enough... i think that would be hot. I like women that lift weights and have crazy hair.

Of course i'm not discriminating towards women either, beauty can come in any race or body structure.

Oh, me neither. It's difficult to blend the ebony foundation into my paper-white complexion, however, so I might skip that step.

For me - I don't mind makeup on a girl as long as it isn't caked on.

If I kiss a girl, I don't want to be wearing makeup afterwords, if you know what I mean.

I think, to your point, Animepic, guys don't necessarily like girls without makeup -- they like girls who don't REQUIRE makeup to make themselves look nice. (at least this is the case with me)

I love a girl who looks just as hot first thing in the morning as she does when we go out at night - cause she doesn't require an hour to do herself up.

I personally love women who are naturally hot without makeup. A little makeup just for added flare if you will is hot as hell, but personally if your eye lids are a different color than your face for me total turn off. I went out with a girl one time she wore soo much make up I was totally turned off by it to the point I couldn't bring myself to kiss her she actually got mad at my lack of escalation, but I was so turned off by the repulsive amount of make up she was wearing.

My personal preference is natural for the most part however a nice hairstyle and a little bit of makeup to highlight your features is also a turn on just no more than that.

You guys are all full of shit and you don't know shit about makeup. I work in the fashion industry. Most of those "natural beauties" you're talking about are still wearing makeup. Most women wear makeup, you just don't notice it unless they look like jersey shore oompa loompa barbie dolls. Guys lie all the time and say they don't like makeup, then the moment a hot girl walks in covered in makeup, they jump on her like a lapdog.

In answer to your question, the quality of men you can attract will increase drastically if you know how to TASTEFULLY achieve makeup techniques like contouring (or toddler glow if you don't like contouring) and standard smokey eyes. Go easy on the bright lipstick and don't wear orange foundation. Use good quality liquid foundation matched to your skin tone (like Lancôme) and use powder on top, especially if your skin goes oily with liquid foundation. I recommend Kanebo Sensai powder foundation from Japan.

Wearing makeup is not about caking on foundation until you look like a Vegas hooker. It's about subtley emphasising your best features and making them stand out. Very few women can pull off the no make-up look. Latino women look the best without makeup (See J Lo, Selma Hayek) but even they look better with makeup. I'd say fair-haired white women look the worst without, but it depends on the girl.

Blonde eyelashes NEED mascara. That is all.

I personally HATE foundation. A prefer a woman that takes proper care of her skin so she doesn't have to use it. Its like not taking a shower but spraying perfume on for me.

Eye make up is very sexy though. I like it a lot.
