I'd use the excuse that I have no social life because I throw myself into my internet entrepreneurship, but I'm afraid that would only be an attempt to justify why I have no idea what I'm doing.

I am not socially confident. I'm not sexually confident (I am attracted to fat women and I repressed my sexuality throughout school). I don't have friends I can "go out" with (not as often as I'd like to anyway). I certainly have zero mentors in this area of my life -- my father certainly didn't set a good example.

I'm good at work, bad at women. I feel like only half a man.

I'm not working with an unloaded gun, however. I'm not bad looking. I workout often. I eat pretty well. I have direction in life. I KNOW I need to work on this part of myself, and I know I WILL find a way to master this part of myself.

Right now, I need help. I need direction. I need someone to push me. Maybe I don't know what I need, but I'm having trouble getting started. (PS I live in New Orleans)

There's nothing wrong about being attracted to fat women. Some guys like big girls. Some guys like cougars. Some guys like guys. I don't see that as a problem that needs to be fixed. I rather wish I found fat girls attractive. It would be way easier.

I didn't mean to seem like I'm not secure with liking fat women. I am now, but it took awhile. A few years after I left high school. So I missed out on a lot of sexual fun then.

Ok, sorry about the misunderstanding.

I would say that you're looking to become more generally social. The best place to begin, is where your interests lie. You'll find it much easier to make friends with your own type of person, and that's where you start. Look for any group in your area you can join. Whatever interests in life you have, find something that practices those activities. You'll likely find some friends there.

Now I am not an expert at bigger girls. I know we have a few posters who are, and hopefully they can help more specifically. But if you're in good shape, there is a good chance that your issue is either the common guy issue of not expressing interest, or the girl thinking you're out of her league.
