Last thing you need it to be raising some other asshole's kid... and if you even suspect it isn't yours, you need to get that test done.

If it is, you can suggest that you both may not be ready for this... but as previous posters have said - it's her body and her decision... not much you can do there to force her hand.

Find out first. Get the facts...... THEN worry if it's warranted.

I don't think they commonly do in utero paternity tests. You need cell samples taken from the fetus and most women freak out over sticking it with a needle.

I think there is a regular DNA blood test, but it's pretty expensive. About a grand. And she still has to agree.

Its your life dude, women are not beyond faking these things just to make you the nice guy. Heres a couple ideas,

-Gotta get that pregnancy tested, see how long ago it must have started, cause it could probably be him and shes making you the nice guy.
-If it is, you gotta convince her to abort it. Tell her about all the work shes gotta do, how little fun shes gonna have, how its gonna ruin her social life or any life for that matter.
-Read her that part in twilight where the baby violently rips its way out of her vagina, and make sure she gets a full mental image of it. Make sure she knows it hurts and sucks and leaves her ugly.
-You COULD wait till the baby is born to get a DNA test, but if it comes out positive its too late.
-At the end of the day, its your life... and you gotta consider just how far you are willing to go to maintain it. There are other options here, but only you can consider them.

The thing about getting her to do this... logically persuading her is not going to work. You have to evoke emotion in her. Basically, she needs to feel like carrying the pregnancy is scary and leading to bad things. While the abortion will let everything return to normal. She can be at peace.

Also, this is getting a little ahead of ourselves, but this girl seriously needs to get an IUD. Two unwanted pregnancies before college? She's clearly not up for taking pills consistently.

should it go any other way though.. i am prepared to do anything in my power to make sure she gets it.

Of couse in the end i can physically force her, however i am sure i can convince her verbally to get it.

If being nice and sincere doesn't work out, i will try to be an asshole and make her truly hate me, that way she will never consider getting back together with me, and she will want to get an abortion due to the fact that she doesn't want to raise my child!

Depending on the type of pill, it can be 1/4 the cost. And while birth control has an effective use rate of %92(meaning %8 chance of pregnancy every year she takes it like a typical user), IUDs have an effective rate of %99.2.

At the very least she should go on the patch. Its effective use rate is about %97. It gives you only 3 chances per month to mess up, instead of over 20.

Hey dude I've had a similar scenario before and just being quick on my feet I defused it before it became an issue.

Girl: I'm pregnant

Me: no you're not.

Girl: well um I think I might be.

Me: no you don't.

Girl: your an asshole if I had a gun I'd shoot myself.

Me: no you wouldn't.

It may be a little late to call her bluff and see if she folds, but also think of it like this if she was pregnant with your kid knowing you don't want to be with her she would most likely have $$$ in her eyes and be on a mission to bleed you dry. Has she mentioned anything to you about money?

Yes. I got one. It was dirt cheap - $750(insurance usually will not cover it). My guy specializes in them and churns out about a dozen people per day, lol. It took less than twenty minutes, there was almost no pain during the surgery.
I was sensitive for about three days, and couldn't walk around a lot, and had to be careful where and how I sat down.
I had a "no scalpel vasectomy". These ones are much nicer. You don't have to do things like ice your nuts. And you feel normal after about 5 days.
Plan on doing nothing for two days though. You're not in serious pain, but you are sensitive and moving around can reverse the procedure.

After you get it done, you will still have sperm in your ejaculate for about 3 months/30 ejaculations(it's both a time and number thing). 30 ejaculations in a month won't clear you. My office offered free testing, after 10 weeks to make sure I was sperm free. About %1 of vasectomies fail to take or reverse within 3 months. So you should go ahead and check to make sure. Fewer than 1 in 10,000 reverse after three months, so you should be good after that.

Edit:
It's still possible for you to choose to have biological children after this, btw. Reversals are not to be counted on, as they only work about half of the time, and become basically impossible outside of ten years. However, they can jam a needle in your balls and suck some sperm out, if you want to go the in vitro route.

Ultimately, I have no experience with this, but I'll tell you what I would do...

Make it clear you do not want the child. If she has the kid, get the paternity test, it may not be your kid. If it is your kid, move to mexico or pay child support for 18 long years.

Other than that, you could man up and be a father.
