I have decided to start this journal to hel me gauge my progress into this wonderful community. Any feed back is welcome and appreciated

So let's start with a bit of background. I first got into pickup after a now lost friend told me about "The Game".
I was instantly intrigued. I learned basic structure but after my first girlfriend never took it much further. After she and I parted ways I moved across the state. The break up hit me hard. I would say I fell into a depression. I moved in with grandma who helped me get back to myself. Soon things started falling into place. I got a car and began working at my favorite job, a delivery expert. By applying many of the concepts of game to this job I sooned turned it into a career. I am now running a store which brings is to the present. It is my first day off in about a month so I am going into town with a friend of mine for lunch...I will be back later with a report...

July 23rd
Had lunch with the aforementioned friend. We just ate and shot the shit for a bit. We set up a date on Saturday to go "sarging." So I am looking forward to that. Afterwards I went to a book/music store called Hastings. I ran into a girl I met at a mutual friends party. She is the type that is not even on my radar. After looking around for a bit and buying some stuff for my apartment I decided to move on since the place was pretty much barren except for the employees.
Next I went to the local mall, which being a small town it is not very busy. I decided to see if I could run some game on the working girls there. I was first opened by a girl not on my radar but talked with her for a bit not to be rude and toget in a more social mood. Moved on to another store and opened a girl behind the counter (hb7)with a "I would like your opinion opener". Got a some ioi's from her. Went to another store with the intent to find a shirt for my poker game which is later tonight. I went to run some errands today and get some approach practice in.

Venue was a clothing store. I bought nice pair of shorts. I love outlet stores.
Only a few HB's in sight one behind the counter another in the women's section.

Opened the first approach with an opinion opener got a good response. Whilst talking with the first approach I noticed another target pass by a take notice of the interaction. Cut it short with the first to move on to the second.

Second approach was just straight up "hey how are you today" she struggled with English so I felt this was as good a time as any to try out my limited Spanish. She responded well with several ioi's which really boosted my confidence. I kept the interaction short and sweet. Didn't go for the number close but walked away beaming and in a really good mood. I've decided mainly to work on my opening game and get good with my social calibration.

Observations
I am getting good at recognizing ioi's
My approach anxiety is becoming manageable
I feel good when I am sociable.
I am going down the right path in my opinion.

As a side note I bought a dry erase board to help me keep track of short and long term goals. I feel it will help me push myself to read these daily. Also in future posts am going to try to go into more detail with the interactions.

July 26th
After going out and doing some pre work sarging I have decided to reexamine my goals. It feels like three approaches just gets me started. So next time I go out I will be upping the ante.

So here is the report.

First Approach HB 6
Due to being in a small town there isn't much to see during the day. So decided to get some practice in at the local Walmart. Upon arriving at the store I see a clearance tent out front and decide to check it out. I see s hb6 behind the counter first thing open here with "This must be absolutely miserable for you" I live in Texas and the summers are pretty bad. She smiles says it isn't that bad and I go about my shopping. I find a cheap day planner and due side to buy it. I go back up to the counter and ask the Hb 6 behind the counter if her collar can with a leash ( she was wearing a both type collar).she replied no it doesn't. Not a very good reaction for my first approach of the day. I shrub it off and move inside the store.

Second approach hb7
Ifinish my spping and decide to check out. I found the line with the cutest girl working it. While waiting in line I noticed an older Hb7 (probably a 9 back in the day) and open her wth "I guess the speedy checkout isn't so speedy " we giggle a bit and start some small talk . Another line opens up with a hb 6 behind the counte. I say to the current woman I am talking to "oh look a shorter line, feel free to follow " and walk off.
Open the cashier with a compliment, notice the previous woman decided to follow.(of course she would we all hate Walmart lines) chit chat with both women and walk away. Nothing special just honing my approach.
Tomorrow I plan on going to a different location .

Observations
My AA is well under control for 6's and 7's it is time to push my boundaries
3 approaches just gets me in the mood for more.
My weaknesses are pretty much kino related

I thought this was a good goal, but it looks like you are not following through with it. Maybe try scaling back your goals to start off, or try having just one or two that you will work on in the short term? I'm starting off with smaller goals for now just to get my feet wet. What I think has been helpful to me is to write down my goals before actually going out. Then, no matter what else I did or did not do, I can look at my goals and see that I achieved them. Slow and steady wins the race, right?

So I went out today did about five approaches nothing interesting.
Before I went out though I gave myself a good five minute pep talk and it made the world of difference. I felt like I could approach anybody with.rediculous confidence. I am going to add this to my routine.

August 12

So after about a week off I was back with a fucking vengeance. Went to the next town over and did some approaches at the mall. Right off the bat a two set walked by with some afcs hollering "hey girl...HEY GIRL". Litterally chasing after them. I remark "hey those guys back there really want halls attention" they giggle as we pass each other. Next up is two set of ghetto black girls. I say howdy and they just walk by without acknowledging me. I am just in this zone and ishurg it off and move on to some stationary targets aka hired guns. First on I am notfeeling any good vibes I eject. Afterward a punk looking chock with purple hair catches my eye I open, do some light kino. In retrospect it was more or less a shit test and probably coudlve got them digits with a bit more persistence. Nothing else of much relevance to report. Out of curiosity, how much time did you spend with her before going for the number close? It's possible that you didn't spend enough time getting her to invest in you before prematurely forcing her to make a decision about you?
I once saw a friend of mine (not a pua, but a natural at the game) handle this by saying: "Hey, I'm just looking for a friend." It worked, and he got her number. And no, she didn't have a boyfriend, lol.

So this is a pregame post.
I plan on going out after work tonight. Gonna try my hand at some night game.
My goals are to get friendly with the staff at the establishments I will be going to.

Its been awhile since I've posted. So in the past month I haven't been approaching like I should, I did have a date a few nights ago. I got all in my head and did not escalate which is definitely a sticking point for me. Posted about this in the SP forum and for some great advice that I'm going to try. Alright pregame.
