Last year a girl from my class told me I was attractive (tbh I couldn't tell if it was a joke or sincere) up until that point I didn't really think much of her but now I feel attracted (lol, shits fcked up)
I was too much of a pussy to do anything so that's where it ended.

Anyway, I went to a taster session for a class I will be taking this year and I saw her there. After some small talk she asked for my phone number (yeah its embarrasing).
So now I have her number and she has mine. I don't know if she asked for it as a friend or if she was interested in me. Either way, I am interested in her. This was a month ago :/ I never thought about actually txting/calling her till now. I am thinking of txting her but I don't really know how to intiate it. Furthermore, would it actually be a good idea to try and get with her? Cause if it backfires I will be stuck in class with her for a whole year..

Sounds like she is interested however a month has passed and maybe she has moved on already. If I were you I would write 'Hi, it's x. What are your plans on tuesday?'. Don't mention anything about why you didn't text her so long.

Don't worry about awkwardness. If she responds, good. If not, just talk to her as if you never wrote. Be cool about it.

It will be awkward only if you make it awkward. In other words, you have to feel like it's not a big deal.
