I've been dogging it (learning pickup) for awhile, and I'm now giving it another shot. For starters, I plan only to talk, not get numbers. I found that stressful, and I didn't get too far because I was on a mission. Now, I'm going to focus on holding conversations for over ten minutes apiece. ALso, I'm not going to kino. I've done kino, but it hasn't done me much good, for now, so when I'm ready, it won't be a big deal, as opposed to the creepy albatross it currently is. As is, learning to to just take numbers doesn't bother me, given I figure once I'm confident with strangers, asking out girls I know within my social circle will be a piece of cake, and I can go from there.

They say you should start on hired guns, but I've been uncomfortable doing that if I'm not buying anything. How should I do that?

All in all, sound like a plan?

Yes, it does. Your breaking it down and getting one step in place before going to the next one. Perfect.
One improvement, be a little flexible going to the next step, next step, etc.
Who knows you may meet a great girl and take it all the way very quickly in one night, now that you've taken the pressure off
So work your plan, one step at a time with flexibility to go forward if the situation calls for it.
PS-that's how I learned game the way your going to do it.

Hired Guns vary. If you are at a place where they assist you (Clothing store, Mall, Bookstore) they are there to help you shop. So shop. It does not mean you will buy anything.

At bars and such it is a different Game. But the women paid to assist and do not make money are sales are easy to Game and get going.

Example:

I am looking for a unique shirt...I just can't find one.
I am looking for a cool book for my buddy. He is into sports and is not a big reader.

That is it. If the thing you are shopping for is real, it comes off as congruent.

Well, I've come across a lot of guns at the gym, some more interested than others. They're there to assist, too, but I've come up with nothing better then whatever's on the top of my mind. It helps, too, that once in a while, I girl will IOI me, then it's pretty easy, or at least, it should.

Any tips for the gym, in particular?
