Hey guys here's what's up. Last night I went out to meet some friends and check out the fight they didn't show up and I wasn't in a very social mood to begin with, but forced myself to go out anyway.

I get to the bar I walk in there was a lady in a wheelchair she had a pretty severe physical disability for some reason it kind of startled me. Anyway I sit down and a couple min later I see a guy come out from the back in a power chair I recognized him he at one point was a really well known baseball player would have made the big time had he not been injured in an accident.

They were just out for dinner with their psw. For some reason I felt really sad for them so when my waitress came over I told her to give me their bill and just tell them they won a contest or something. She did and they sure were happy so in the end it was definitely worth it. Afterward this waitress was giving me mad ioi's I mean ioi's that a blind person could see, but like I said and this is totally my fault I wasn't in a social mood I couldn't hold a decent convo just wasn't myself so I didn't act on them as much as I should have.

I finally got my wits about me and had a good convo with her, but she got called over to another table and said she'd be back however something must have came up because she left work altogether.

All the waitresses were exceptionally nice to me after that I'm sure if I went back sometime next week and the value I created would carry over if you will and I'd be able to get her number at least.

Anyway as always any advice is appreciated thanks!!

It's all set up for you. You can approach this a few different ways now.

Assuming she didn't leave work altogether because she was released; you should see her again. I wouldn't risk going in every day until you do, but make it a point to go in there a couple times more than usual. When you finally see her - if you remember anything at all from the conversation you mustered up - you have to engage it. Remembering her name without the use of her name tag is a good start. Remembering a strong point from the conversation; that's gold.

You could even request her as your waitress. Let her know you specifically asked for her and tell her why. Don't beat around the bush. Tell her you didn't get to finish your previous conversation, and since she's working and might get caught up again, that you want to give her a call some time. At this point; honesty is key. Don't be too pushy or come off as needy. If she says "no, I can't..." for whatever reason, be cool about it. Tell her that it's ok and playfully say you can always catch up in conversation whenever you're feeling hungry and visit her.

I have gotten plenty of waitresses phone numbers. Unfortunately, the turn around rate on them, has been kind of low. I know where I made the mistake that caused these issues and since then, I've been talking to one waitress more recently on a real friendly level. Waitresses get hit on a lot and you have to (as commonly stated) void yourself out of that "oh this routine again" thought she'll have. By doing this - I'll be taking my waitress out on a date on Sunday (2 nights from now). Good luck to you!
