Hey guys,

Clearly I'm new here so apologies if this is in the wrong location - just looking for some advice on this.

I'll try to make this as brief as possible.
Now when I was back in school, at around 16 I met this girl who I very quickly became attracted to, which then got me friendzoned pretty damn quickly. So I've known this chick for 5 years now and she has pretty much been my oneitis the whole time (even confessed my long time crush to here in a very embarrassing drunken confession!)

Now, she had been in a relationship for the best part of 2-3 years, which has recently ended. I found this out a few nights ago when I met up with her, as a friend on a night out.

I managed to get with her that night, took her back to my place however I didn't find out until we were in bed together that wasn't able to have sex with her because she was on! Couldn't believe how bad my luck was.

Anyway, the next morning she was still pretty keen and on Monday I took her out, had a good time and kissed her at the end of the night, she generally seemed very interested.

Now throughout the week, I've not spoken to her much, I've tried communicating with her by texting her and speaking to her on the phone, and I know I'm coming off probably a bit too keen, but it's killing me not to speak to this girl!

One part of me is telling me clearly she is interested, otherwise she wouldn't have come out, she told me that night this whole situation was inevitable and due to happen at some point, so I've got the idea she has always had some feelings for me. Then the other side of me is telling me she's not interested but just doesn't want to shut me down / potentially break our friendship or whatever.

I'm at a bit of a loss on how to progress things here and I'm clearly overthinking everything that is going on - I'm like on the brink of asking her outright if this is going anywhere or not but I'm so hesitant about messing this whole thing up after I've finally made some progress with this chick after 5 years!!


Any advice is more than welcome, I look forward to your responses!
