i know when i'm out in clubs my hands can get cold and clammy especially if i'm holding a drink so i touch with the back of my hand with the 3 middle fingers and you want to do this every time you emphasize a point. its the least threatening way

when you want to escalate things farther what works great is to "reward them" or at a height of emotion i will kiss them on top of the head while giving them a side hug, next time it will be the same side hug except kiss on the temple of the head, then the cheek and then maybe sometimes the cheek kind of lips if i'm not 100% sure then i'll go for the lips but by that time she has caught on and she goes in for the kiss same time as me
