Anything can work man, just as anything can not work. Its not about what you do its all about how you do it.

I can walk up to a girl and say "Hey" and get a positive response, and you can do the same and get a negative response.

So its not about the technique or theory, just where you are in your walk with seduction. These things you read on the internet are just foundations for you to work around once you've developed your skills.

So the chances are, if you have to search on the internet to figure out how to take a girl from her boyfriend, you probably haven't developed your seduction and social skills enough to execute it right away. Just keep it in mind for when you reach a higher level.

So i'd say use both of the techniques (even though I didn't click them) because it'll provide you with the experience that will develop your skills.
