Well reading through the above posts and I'm just trying out PoF myself and was looking for a little guidance.. Anyone else able to shed some light on a few tips to good openers & good profiles on such sites?

But my big tip is, you will see the girl's name within her user name or she will mention it in her profile

So start the message off with her name and you can bypass the "do you copy and paste this to all the girls" bollocks, for example:

User name - Stacybubble69

Hey Stacy,

*copy and paste*

This also increase response exponentially from the women, but pof penalise's when you spam the same message unless you change one or two words.

If there is no name, just leave it blank. Maybe mention at the bottom " p.s. (Mention one of her pics) Cute puppy!"

Honestly I feel online dating is a waste of time. Its a meet market for women, and all I see on there are fat and ugly women. Disgusting. You gotta think if a hot girl is using online dating then she's either crazy irl or she gets 100 messages a day and has her pick.

The quality isn't that great but it's great for racking up the numbers if that is your goal...

However, I did date a girl on the high end of the scale from POF once upon time, so you can get lucky. Just like real life game.
