I've already been doing this but it's always a DHV (instead of a DLV) for me. These girls know I make good money by the way I dress even if I wear just a plain t-shirt and a pair of jeans. By my choice and form of exercise. Not every one in my place can afford gym time or martial arts dojangs. And by having my own apartment. Most guys here still live with their parents.

I just follow the "don't be a dick rule". This is different than being cocky or confident. If you've built rapport, there's no reason to deny a drink. Your situation is different though, as she is at work. Personally, when it's time for another round (at the bar. this obviously wouldn't work in your particular situation) i play a game to see who buys. doesn't have to be anything special. fuck you can play tic tac toe. usually, even if i lose the girl will buy. If a girl gives 3 or more iois, there's no need to feel ashamed of buying her a drink...water, soda, beer whatever. I definitely wouldn't have ejected. her not wanting to leave sounds like the REAL shit test, not you buying her a sprite.

My pass for this test is a giggle followed by something like "hey, listen, you're cool. I like you, and I don't mind springing for stuff, but not today. Establishes the wrong relationship." No girl ever doesn't understand and respect that.

For me it is completely congruent. It also says that you like and shows that this is the beginning of something which I take seriously. It's also a blatant push-pull, free from bullshit.

Getting them to do a silly dance or some shit, or trades and score keeping are just not what I'm about.

If 21 mins is too much of a time commitment and you can't judge material on its own merrit, maybe pua isn't for you. This shit is complex and time consuming... And HARD. Perhaps AFCing around Craigslist is more your style of game.
