| Hey guys, I could use a little advice swung my way. I'm a 22 year old university student currently studying in Lebanon (originally from California). I've had a pretty rough childhood, from parents separating to moving to a foreign country, but it seems I have overcome most of my issues. I used to be highly overweight, depressed and on medication, and a failure at school. I lost all the weight and am in the best shape of my life, overcame depression, and am now an engineering student in one of the best universities in the middle east. The one thing that has been holding me back is in the dating department. It seems no matter how hard I try, how good I get with my words, my approaches, studying and practicing the game, I just can't master it. It's not that I've had no success what-so-ever, but for where I am in my life, it is way below average. I have mastered the approach, and getting the number and lunch/coffee is now just a formality to me. But it ends there. After that things just deflate, even though it's never a dull meeting, I throw in DHV's, negs...the works. I don't know if its me, if its the fact that girls are really stuck up at my university (one of those high-end bratty "mom and dad paid for my porsche" universities), or if the whole dating game is just different in Lebanon. All I know is that it's destroying me, bringing me down, making me feel like a failure... I really hope someone out there can give me some help, because so far no one I know has been able to.
