So I've got a time constraint coming up 5 months down the line, and it's not a flexible one. I'll still be around after that but there's precisely 0 chance I'll be available for anything then. So if I think a girl has a thing for me, IOIs etc, what should I do to try to hurry things along... After all, it'd be sad if we both missed out because she couldn't make up her mind!!

Thanks Mega, that's definitely encouraging... I actually have a few pots simmering away, but it's a small world where I live and so I guess I have to pick and choose (do I? Or can I get away even with that...?). Do you think there's any specific way I can exploit this deadline, since it's so far away?

Right now I'm just keeping my distance a little bit from all of them but flirting back whenever they flirt with me. I really don't know if this is the best way to go about it, but I'm not sure how else to do it. Do you have any suggestions as to things to read or what I could do?

Well, you can always use it as a time constraint for them and let them know that you want to make the most of the time you have together and that all great and powerful romances are short lived (look at Romeo and Juliet, or any epic love story).

Try reading any books you can about the game,as they all give you bits of information that are helpful.Also defently if your stuck about something,im sure that there have been other people in the same situation..so look on the website,its very helpful.Also if your stuck post your problems,many people will know the answers and will help you move on with these girls.Goodluck

While that is a time constraint for you, i think it has very little to do with gaming.

A FTC (false time constraint) is a remark or body language you use to show that you COULD leave at any moment within a set. You could also have a real TC during a set, but its something immediate like having to leave a venue.

Your leaving in 5 months shouldnt have any effect on who you game or how until 5 months from now. Your using it as a logical excuse to escape an emotional instance.

Im not saying hide it from women, but im not saying flaunt it to them either. Both the target and your world keep on spinning regardless of if your with each other or not, so make the most of the time you have and game away.
