I go to this publix often, I approached my cashier and had some small talk with her, but i was in a rush and I didnt really bother to get her name or number but the conversation went well. How should i go back and get her number?

If if went well enough there's the possibility that the next time you're there and happen to see her she'll remember you. If you engage and the conversation goes well I don't see why not it will be pretty natural after all
