Alright, so due to my job, I'm not able to go out sarging since I'm in a remote area. Well, there's this one chick I find attractive but she recently told me she's seeing someone. She has expressed interest in me, by saying it sucks that our timing is always off (when she's married, I'm single, when I'm separated, she's divorced but seeing someone else).

I'm really not sweating it (not trying to develop one-itis), but when I saw SMT, I thought it was a great concept and had the idea to use it on this girl. I talked to one of her/our mutual friends and sort of tested it out on the friend as to what I would say (without telling her my intentions). She saw right through me and said "oh, sarcasm?"

I have a feeling it had to do with my tone, but that's also because I tried to put my own spin on it, since the way I read the delivery of SMT was a little too uppity for my style. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding how to deliver the lines.

Forget the backstory (I suppose I shouldn't have included it), this thread is more specific to the delivery of SMT, which I am confused about. I just want to get this down in the event I come across another chick with a bf.
