Hey, i'm a freshmen in college and met this girl last night at my friend's party. We talked for like 30 minutes (we were both pretty drunk) and I got her number. She walked back to her dorm and I texted her for a few minutes and made plans to visit her on her work break tonight (she's working in my dorm). I kinda want to text her today while were both sober to make sure we are still both on for tonight without directly asking her. Like, saying something along the lines of "Hey, any hangover from last night haha?", and if she gives me a somewhat flirty response I know we are good. I just don't really want to show up and her not have any idea who i am. Is it okay if i text her within a day of meeting her? I don't want to seem to attached after only one short meeting. And would saying something like "Hey, any hangover from last night haha?" be a good opener?
