I'm asking this for my friend because he is on OKC and plentyoffish right now and almost no girl responds to him there. I personally didn't even bother trying it out because nobody I know has had any good experiences with online dating but I may try in the future if I know the best ways to get responses from girls online

It's a numbers game. No point in investing too much time into writing a message. Just copy and paste something friendly and make sure your profile is good enough to do the rest of the talking for you. If he's not getting any responses, it's because his profile sucks, not because his message sucks.

"Hey, my name is Dick. I found your profile and think you're pretty interesting so I'd let to get to know you. Check out my profile and let me know if you're interested."

There are so many guides online that tell you that you need to pick some details out of her profile and shit, but seriously, who has time for that when you have virtually thousands of women to contact?

i do not meet women online. i once made a fake profile with photos of a woman, and many men sending messages. and one woman was saying that she received like a thousand messages from men and did not answer any of them.

yeah that's not surprising

I knew girls in the past who made profiles for the hell of it and even the ugliest one I knew got a ton of messages from dudes

I typically get a response 20-25% of the time. The odds aren't quite as bad as you think. And no, I don't message every heifer out there. I'm actually pretty shallow.

you just have to ping someone and they eventually send you message if she likes you.

You and your friend have no online game. Get some game and you will likely have reasonable or better results. My advice is to read some material or talk to guys who know what they are doing, not your unsuccessful friends.

But even when your online game is good it's still going to be a numbers game, but at least it's a worthwhile numbers game.
