Here's a situation I've never encountered before:

Last night I got some serious eye contact from a hot little latin american gril that was surrounded by AMOG's trying to hit on her and her friend. These guys were dug in and looked like they were sticking it out till the bitter end.

I know with a mixed set you're supposed to open the guys first, but here's where I got confused. A) She was giving me HUGE IOI's and AI's B) the place was empty and there was no way I could make my approach look casual C) these were just random guys and the girls were obviously not interested and D) I just watched the superbowl and had way too much to drink.

So I got up and went into no man's land. I blundered by going in straight to the girl(a solid 8 --worth the trouble) since she was giving me such strong approach invitations. She was extremely receptive and immediately kino'd me, turned her seat to face me, her hand on my leg... I think it was a combo of her actually being attracted to me while also trying to get rid of the AMOG's.

As soon as I sat down I realized my mistake --the AMOG's were bitterly hostile and, as I suddenly realized, pretty big and probably as drunk as I was. I got into a couple of immediate staredowns( I held my ground) and then after running a weak opener on the girl, I tried to damage control by introducing myself to the rest of the table.

I went back to trying to run game on the girl but the hostility and snippy comments were starting to rattle me. I stuck it out though --my friends had my back so I didn't worry too much about getting my ass kicked-- and I focused in on the girl and eventually the AMOG's packed it in and left. Whew. It got pretty tense for a while.

I ended with a ride home from her and her friend, got a number and (has this happened to anyone before?) she took my toque and refused to give it back. Either she's a thief or she intends to see me again.

I came out on top but not because of my game. It was a bit of a shit show.

So the question is, how should I have appraoched that situation?

I personally, if she is alone with her female friends, then you just focus on her...

Let them talk all the shit they want, if they start to touch, you start to punch...

Now go close on this bird, and get yer toque back!!!!!!!!!!

You shouldve just gone into the set and got everyone involved! thats dangerous man! who knows how bad it couldve gotten! Jump in the whole set and demonstrate sometype of value than defuse the Amog.

Yah, I totally agree. I was in over my head. What got me confused was all the intense IOI's this girl gave me. Kinda messed up my whole strategy.

Yeah you should never let a girl get soo much control over you man! sure shes giving you IOI, so you lean back and make her work for it, if you know shes already interested!

I guess we all make mistakes! just be careful for next time!
