If you've been here for a while, then you've seen a few lying weirdos turn this forum into a pick up comedy show. There was once a guy who claimed he f'd 5,000 girls in a year I believe. . . all out of strip joints. Then some guy who claims he turns girls on by walking circles around nightclubs and then staring them down. . . .not creepy like, but in his special way. There's always the alpha, alpha, alpha guys. There's the super duper true core self confident guys. The problem is that this minority group has had a way of turning pick up and this forum into a fucking joke.

Now. . . pick up is nothing serious to begin with. Hell, it essentially amounts to a chat with a chick and that's it. . . but if you guys are happy with chatting about made up bullshit, why are you even here?

You've probably noticed that real life has a balancing mechanism for individuals that impede progress for a group. Cheaters get kicked out of school. Lying lazy workers get fired. A-holes stop getting calls to hang out. An internet forum has no such mechanism. This is the only reason why in the last few years, I called a few lying a-holes out. Their only reason for being here is public approval from strangers because they get no such approval from those they know in real life. In real life, due to the same behaviors that irritates so much here, they get KICKED OUT. The only thing that matters to them is 'public approval' vs, 'public humiliation' and thus, the only mechanism to block idiocy on this forum = 'humiliation'.

Most of you are nice guys. . . I get it . . . but enabling and supporting liars will get you THIS does-anyone-have-success-p-u-wealthy-gals-vt174683.html every time. The last page is unreadable. Enabling lying a-holes turns the forum into an idiot show. Your choice.

Also, because everything on the forums are written in text. It's hard to interpret what someone wants to say. For example in my case, in the beginning when I was learning a lot about PUA. I took the advice 'be confident and alpha' to the extreme. Instead of acting confident, I used to act arrogant and like an asshole.

It's a simple matter for the OP in the thread you quoted to field test your advice in a water festival in Vietnam or field test my advice in the nearest bank.

Liars and posers will continue to exist as long as the world exists. Ever heard of that Tornoto Eaton Centre PUA debacle? What a joke those guys were using meetup.com to get training on how to pick up women at a poor target poor local such as Indoor Mall to only be found out by the women to be using the same opener over and over and then going to the same place over and over. Man that's just plain sickening. I even get disappointed in some PUA's (I walked around the Mall for 3 hours and didn't approach). Well for one thing don't go to an Indoor Mall and two pick a target rich local like an Outdoor Mall or Club in the Summer for goodness sakes. Remember PUA used to be a secret club (Credit Neil Strauss in the Game), so I never tell chicks I am a PUA and I am not telling my wing either. ^THIS is as absurd. This is absurd in real life . . . and it is absurd here. And because it is a habit of lying scum to continue to fabricate more lies to support his initial absurdities, supporting this behavior will only force them to mock themselves and the forum even further.

The problem isn't people who lie. It's the fact there are too few PUAs on the forums. There is zero advice being given on the scale of things and a lot of mental masturbation. Countless posts go unanswered and then you have different forms of PU being spewed left, right and center with no real focus at all. The absolute worst thing about it is people join up for advice on ONE girl and ask for relationship advice.

All the vets of the forums pretty much left after the mods got rid of karma(Reputation) on the forums and because there is no genuine feedback all anyone has to take from what is legit advice is based on post count and give or take a year of being part of the forums.

It's not "posers" or "liars" that are the problem but a poor system for a forum like this that is in place. There's zero feedback because of this. As a result the forums are a far cry from what they once were when I first started out and joined. There were a few great PUAs that gave awesome advice and didn't sugar coat shit and over analyse things. They gave you answer, told you if it was over and when to move on and when to try again. They actually taught you this stuff.

I've found myself having way more ups and downs and massive spikes of decent success to terrible success since this change and listening to some advice out there. Not saying all of it is bad but i've not really gained much knowledge of PU from these forums as solid advice is few and far between. Infact the only solid advice you'll see is old posts from 2008-2010 some of which haven't been stickied.

Infact, and this is crazy, back then pick up was about the "Here and Now" not this rubbish of "I got this girls number and want to go for a day 2..." It was all about k-closing and f-closing right after you met them. That's what I want to see more of and none of this bullshit reach around of whittling away at a woman over the course of a month until she sleeps with you... Seriously? That's not what Pick Up is about.

I think it's generally pretty easy to see at a glance who has a good idea and who doesn't. And every single person on this forum has their fair share of giving bad advice sometimes - it's bound to happen because no one, no matter how long they've been at it, is done learning new things. Instead of looking at someone's credibility and how long they've been on the forum or how many posts they have, ignore their name entirely and look at the meat of their advice. I've seen a few people on here who make me cringe with their shitty lines sometimes, only to have them present a very solid idea a few weeks later. It's up to each individual to determine whether the advice is sound or not and if it fits into their style and personality. And if you can't figure out at a glance if an idea is shit or not, see what other people have to say about the topic as well. That's what a forum is for, after all.

Also, a few of the so-called pros on this forum need to tone down their emotions a bit (I'm not referring to Kasabi by the way - just wanted to clarify since a previous post called him out) and stop trying to alpha-rape other members. Intentionally being an asshole is completely different from being blunt. Learn the difference, you beta bitches.

Agree 100% with Snarg. Maybe a better explanation of what I feel and what I have already said in my OP.. ie make up your own opinion..

How this stuff got started was a bunch of guys sharing ideas and techniques on seduction and seeing what works and what does not work.

Some forums have moderators, and ban or warned kjokeys or trollers, that is another option.
