Gamed a new girl at my local bar last night and took her back to my place. The general "vibe" was good, and she SEEMS quite into me. We've exchanged phone numbers & Facebook, and there has been some texting today.

I know that as a general rule, I never do enough kino, which means my general game is decent, but my escalating & closing needs to get MUCH better!

We've set up a first real "date" for next week (drinks & a movie at my place). But when I wanted to kiss her as she was leaving last night, she smiled and said "I don't kiss on the first date..."

Am I friend zoned here, or do you guys think that if I kino & escalate better next time, I can get some results?

Had you been LJBF-ed she would have gone "I don't think of you that way", or some similar line. By saying "I don't kiss on the first date" she implied a few things:

- it was a DATE, that is two consenting adults about to get jiggy with it sometimes in the not so near future
- it was a FIRST date, that is there will be a follow up date at a given time
- she will KISS you during one of the next dates, preferably the second one - you should see her again and it will happen
- she's not the type to put out early in the dating phase, due to either a conservative upbringing or some bad experiences from the past

Quite frankly, with girls that have such "rules" about what happens and when, no amount of kino or escalation will do you any good. Kino would get her on the defensive, as it is against "the rules"... But targets with looser morals, that's a different ball game, bring on the kino & sexual escalation...
