I'd like to believe he meant that he's having trouble adopting a better state. He feels as though he shouldn't go out to approach women. Sort of like a first minute resistance of lethargy.

Ah ok. I think I know what you mean...and to be quite honest...if you stay home

all the time moping about how your single with no women in your life...the truth is..

its going to stay that way unless you take action.
