First of all, yes I agree. There's no one-size-fits-all magic formula. It's all hard work, adapting to the situation, getting the right vibe, and doing the proper roles society throws at you.
Second, if you can walk on your own two feet, then you certainly are doing a routine-- a nonverbal routine.
If you are calling a girl on the phone and you say, "Hello." then you certainly are doing a routine-- a verbal routine. If you work a 9 to 5 job, then you're doing a routine. Almost everything in Homo sapiens societies are routines.
So what's my point? When you say a canned pick up line, the verbal routine is just a minor component of the routine. There are routine things that you need to learn like timing, voice inflection, reading and displaying the proper body language that gets the most positive result and so on and so forth.
A seducer should know how to integrate all of these 'routines' to get the best possible outcome. Routines are not bad per se. Routines are the building blocks of human societies from books, schools, work, religion, night clubs, bars, hotels, money and most concepts that you know-- all of these are routines.
i agree almost 75% those routines are natural routines for the most part
what im saying is guys find a nice pick up line, then look for something to start a convo then look for a joke to include in the convo then look for a closer, then wonder why they can't think of what to say after....its fake and those routines you are talking about are building blocks, the routines im talking about is basically stealing from somebody trying to get the same results
an example of what you're talking about is like somebody making a game, they may decide to make a rpg or a first person shooter but after that its all a creative process
an example of what im talking about is somebody making a game and deciding they want to completely rip off a game like call of duty without adding anything new or unique and wondering why they didn't get the same results
but i do agree with you i just have a hard time explaining stuff
