I hadn't even heard of it. What station (MTV, VH1, Fox . . .) is it supposed to be on and when? It kinda sounds like "The Pick Up Artist" that used to show on VH1.

Keys to the VIP was terrible- it never made any explanations, anyone who doesn't know about PU would be lost to that show. They didn't teach too many techniques, they used very little new material and many of the contestants were laughably pathetic.
All that said, Keys to the VIP is very fun to watch. You can all watch it for free on YouTube!

I wasn't too impressed by the show, however I've only watched a couple of episodes. In all I don't think there is a lot of "skills" to learn from watching the show, although it is quite amusing. It was very annoying to me though that one of the so-called judges who was an ex-football player would always use a football related analogy to analyze what happened. Very disturbing

Actually, I found Keys to the VIP very informative, and certainly more entertaining and realistic than the Pickup Artist. It is rare to see PUAs videotaped in field and rarer to see it video and sound recorded.

My one gripe with the show is the fact that they are given such a tight time frame and the real goal is to get a number and nothing else. This leads some of the contestants to go to some ridiculous measures like claiming they want to do a photo shoot and THAT is why they get they girls number. Also, some of the ways they game, the numbers are more likely to be fake than anything.

Still, they need some sort of criterion to judge--I just get annoyed when the judges applaud things that would never get the girl later--like the photo shoot bit.

That said, I think it is highly entertaining, and interesting to see the variety of personalities that can be successful. I also don't think it is as far from the truth as some might claim.

The guy that works with mystery on there was cajun.
I actually prefer keys to the vip to TPUA. Expect the bits where they film them in there home, they make such a prick out of themselves. Some of the guys on there are very good looking so its no wonder they do well. But its funny to see these little nerdy guys work the sets, they just come in with such high energy it has the girls hooked.
It would be great if all the guru's and mASF did a show like this and competed.

cajun was mystery's student on the show and he went against his cousin. He dominated 3-0 and sarged a bunch of HB 8-9s unlike the other contestants who go for worse than HB 6s

I think this show is soo funny. Its true there are some chumps on it and the guys mock them mercilously which is quite amusing... The first season only had a couple good guys on it but has been getting better as the show goes on. The second season ended quite recently and i saw an ad for people to audition. This next season should be really good... the guys called out the real PUA's and im sure others like cajun will answer the call.

PS its thursdays on comedy central .

I would love to see some of the best go at it, like style vs. mystery. That would be great.

Yea i heard of it. That show is cool i think it only airs in Canada or something or so ive heard. Its tight tho, did you see the one with that PUA named "Cajun"? That guys game was so freakin tight he was like liquid. One of the challenges was to recover from a fumble so they had to go out and like diss a girl then recover from it and build attraction and the guy cajun did it like a freakin G. cool show, send me a PM ill show you how to get all the episodes.

Can´t really hold it against the show that it´s not that informative. Remember it´s TV, guys, it´s their job to entertain - not school:D
And yeah, it´s lots of fun.
