Hi there. Wondering who of you has tried / examined David De' angelos stuff and what you think of it ?

I first stumbled onto David Deangelo's ebook, "Double Your Dating" back in 2003. It was my introduction to the PUA community.

It's a great starter book in my opinion, but it's pretty basic to be honest. All of his stuff kinda became common knowledge in the PUA community. His stuff is mostly from the 90s, after all.

I really don't know what I would have done if I had never found his stuff, though.

I think David D is the foundation to what you want to learn. I've checked out his inner game, approaching women etc etc... very very good info. His standard "Double Your Dating" E-Book is common info in the PUA community but his courses get deeper than that... he has quite a few.

Never heard about him before, but Mario "Dandi" De Angelis from the italian TV series "Romanzo Criminale" is one hell of an Alpha Male role model

I'm only familiar with Double Your Dating, but I'll say that it's pretty much general knowledge. Not bad stuff, just pretty well known (in general).

Now that I have a few opinions perhaps time I post my thoughts. I have never bought any of his material however have read his emails. I think that hes stuff is pretty logical and valid however I also think he exagerates how good his stuff realy is.

I believe most of the concepts he is trying to pass on (confidence, maintaining eye contact, positive body language) are valid however I woudnt have blind faith in this guy. Theirs a email where he suggests making fun of a person and then working that into meeting females.

I find it amussing how he is trying to turn a simple explanation and suggestion into a complete science. He talks in his youtube videos for 10 minutes when the point he is trying to make only realy takes 30 seconds. I think he is trying to sound so intelligent and knowledgable when all he has to do is get to the point of what he is trying to say. I feel he tries to make this thing sound so much more intricate and complicated then what it realy is.

If you like this sort of self help material I would say to anybody go for it but don't buy everything this man is selling (not literaly - don't just do everything this guy suggests like a robot if it doesn't feel right). For example In one video he says getting a females number is easy. Ask to use her phone and then dial your own number from her phone. This concept is complete rubbish - which female is going to answer your phone call after you got it through deceptive measures and what sorta message would that be sending ?

In a nut shell - overall very good concepts which are overly explained and tainted with bits of bullshit as well.

Generally, people are pretty split about DeAngelo. If you read anything Ross Jeffries has done, he calls him David DeAnushole (or something like that).

DeAngelo's background is marketing. A lot of the PUA "gurus" have marketing backgrounds. Either way, he's very good at saying very little with a maximum amount of words. I've seen his Body Language DVDs, and he takes 2 hours to say what could've been said in 15-20 minutes.

However, a lot of the stuff he puts out there is highly valid, and I encourage you to explore DYD, if you have the money.

A female who wants your number but is too shy or has an ASD running to ask you for it outright. The concept is tacit in that both partys understand what's happening but don't vocalise it.

He also promoted just getting the girls number and leaving quickly - like get the number within a few minutes and then leaving. Interested in hearing what other people think of David idea ?
