I am new to all this pick up artist stuff. I usually just be myself when it comes to picking up the ladies but my buddy has been telling me all about these pickup artist books and videos. So I watch some of the vids and this mystery guy says a good opener is this - Hey guys, i need a female perspective? I am a magician and i want to do an experiment, then he says pick a number between 1 and 4. They pick there number and then i ask them what else besides there looks do they have going for themselves. I have found that a lot of girl can't answer the question.(these girls are 9 to 10 rank also) The get all confused. then when i try to guess there number which is supposed to be 3 it's never 3. I tried this scenario 10 times in one night. I found that most girls don't pick 3 they pick 2. At this point i have to make up some other shit cause my magic trick didn't work. I think that this kind of opener is a bust. If the first part doesn't work then it fucks everything up. Now i have had it work once but it mostly doesn't work. so now i usually just use does my friend look gay or the drug dealer one works good to.

Just try a variety of openers and see which work for you best and ones you feel comfortable with.
I've heard PUA's say they have to use an opener 10 to 15 times just to get it right, your never get the same response everytime, what works with some does'nt work with others. Test them out and find out which ones you think are best.

If you know psychology then you know that this small test works because of HOW you say it. Every detail matters.

DONT say pick a number between 1 and 4.
DO say something like -

In your mind, imagine a blackboard, with the numbers one to four (the words sound like numbers -one to four - sounds like one two four- 1 2 4, making 3 stand out) written on it in white chalk, then imaging choosing A number (DONT say "choose one number", 1 number, they may think of the number 1 or otherwise confuse them!) and draw a large chalk circle around that number.

Number 3 right? Bingo!
